I’m not ready for advisory - how can I sort my finances first?

Because you can’t do True Advisory® without secure foundations and sound operating disciplines.

Because the management of finance is the essential requirement for any business and the founding principle of accountancy. Yet, I keep meeting accountants who struggle to get a worthwhile return from their practice.

The main reason seems to be that accountants are (too) nice people and as a result are reluctant to:

  • Raise fees annually

  • Price for the value given

  • Make client monthly direct debiting mandatory

  • Promote the practice as a client profit generator

  • Performance-manage their staff

  • Treat each team member as a profit centre

  • Get rid of difficult and timewasting clients

  • Invest in automation

  • Eliminate subscriptions for unused software

I’m not (quite) so nice.

So, my approach is to work with you attack all of these and over a 12-month period get rid of the debtor book, eliminate borrowing, raise profits, develop a positive bank balance and make running your practice feel worthwhile again.

It doesn’t mean being unpleasant or lacking in empathy but doing it with someone else is so much easier!

Next step: to discuss how that could work for you, please call me
